Announcement for the extension of document submission for the prequalification
of 63 and 132 kv GIS equipments manufactures.
Following previous announcement and due to the request of anumber of interested
companies , the previous deadline for the submission of relevant
prequalification document has been extended to july 23,2003.
Invitation for
Prequalification Process of Local and Foreign Manufacturers of 63
and 132KV Gas Insulated Switchgear Equipment to Participate in the
Tender
Tavanir company intends to obtain and transfer technology and
know – how for manufacturing of Gas Insulated Switchgear Equipments
(including conventional GIS , HYBRIDS & … ) to local companies,
along with purchasing GIS equipment for 30 substations (63 and
132KV). Therefore, all companies having necessary capability in this
respect, are invited to submit the following documents and data
before July 23,2003:
1- Products reference list with the name of customers
2- Products brochure
3- Foreign companies should mention their detailed experiences
and history of technical cooperation in the field of GIS substations
with other countries, including the country and company name and
conditions and circumstances of the technical collaboration.
4- Local companies should mention their experience regarding
technology and the conditions of know-how transfer, including the
country and company name.
5- Name and practical experience of local cooperator and/or
companies . “For foreign companies”
6- Name and practical experience of foreign cooperator and/or
companies “For local companies”
7- In case of joint – ventured participation of several local and
foreign companies , the name and specifications of the leader shall
be mentioned.
- Requirements from local companies for participation in the
tender.
i) Having good record and reputation in Electrical power
industry or similar industrial activities.
ii) Having well known foreign collaborator, in the field of
manufacturing of gas insulated substation. The general procedure and
contents of the perliminary memorandum of cooperation or equipment
participation shall be provided.
- Requirements from foreign companies for participation in the
tender
i) Having international record and reputation and relevant
experience in the field of manufacturing of substations gas
insulated equipment.
ii) Having continuous activity and up-to-date technology.
iii) Having a well – know domestic partner is an advantage. For
independent participation , a company has to be registered in Iran
with respect to the related domestic rules. (the general procedure
and contents of preliminary memorandum of cooperation or partnership
with local side or establishment of new independent company should
be submitted ) . After investigation and evaluation of practical and
technical capability , the qualified companies will be invited to
tender.
The following items will be considered as important factors in
the evaluation of the proposals:
1- Products’ price .
2- Quality and specifications of products based on the rendered
documents .
3- Investment share of the foreign side.
4- Schedule and plan for manufacturing of equipment in Iran.
5- Level of technical cooperation including transfer of
technology , license permission, technical support , providing
latest technology and updating procedure and so on.
